Broadleaf Chamber Strings

Broadleaf Chamber Strings is a collection of student string ensembles for players of varying ability levels. Together, we explore repertoire from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern eras.

Our instructors are professional chamber musicians and experienced string teachers.
Here's a little about them:
Nathan Wilson, Conductor and Quartet Coach, brings over 35 years of performance and teaching experience. His trios, quartets and quintets have gotten public radio airplay, as well as, top billing at some of the finest music venues in the Twin Cities.
Jessica Newhouse, Ensemble Instructor, has had over 5 years of experience directing the Breck School string program and more than 20 years with the Minnesota Youth Symphonies. She also performs on cello and violin for River Valley Church in the Twin Cities.
Isabella Barrett was classically trained and has mastered all ten Suzuki Violin Method books. Currently, she teaches private lessons to young musicians, plays in the Grace Church orchestra and performs in a family string trio."
